Muhammad Raezal graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with a Second Class (Upper Division) LL.B (Hons) in 2024.

Before joining Azmi & Associates as a pupil, Raezal had undergone several internships to gain exposure to the legal field. In July 2023, Raezal had undergone a three-month legal attachment program at Messrs. Azlina Abdul Aziz & Associates as part of his university’s compulsory course requirement.

Having a keen interest in dispute resolution, he was mainly involved in drafting cause papers and conducting legal research for civil dispute cases involving Torts and Contract Law. Furthermore, in August 2024, Raezal had worked as a paralegal at Messrs. Thomas Philip, gaining exposure to Construction Law. He had also acted as an online paralegal, assisting a judge from the Sessions Court of Kuala Lumpur in conducting legal research, going through disputing parties’ cause papers, as well as drafting grounds of judgements, mainly involving accident cases.

Raezal was an active student during his university days, organising and participating in various events in IIUM. He has a deep passion in child education and development, evidently by being a main board member of Steadfast IIUM, a university-based society mainly focusing on conducting beneficial facilitating programs for students in primary and secondary schools. In relation to that, he was also heavily involved in organising a facilitating program with the students of Henry Gurney School, Melaka, organised by the university’s Legal Aid Club.

Raezal has a strong passion in civil litigation and arbitration. He is now part of our Litigation & Arbitration 3 (LAPG3). His Master is our Partner, Wan Nor Nadia W. Ramli.

Hazreel Haqim graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) with a LL.B (Hons) in 2024.

He was an active student participating and representing UiTM to many varsity debate competitions, locally and internationally. Among his notable achievements are Champion of UiTM Vice Chancellor English Debating Competition 2023, where he was also nominated as the Overall Best Debater. Internationally, he represented UiTM at Shanghai Pre-ABP 2021 and Krabi Australs 2023 as an institutional adjudicator.

Apart from being competitive in debate, he was also the Vice President for UiTM English Debating Society from 2021 until 2022, convening UiTM debate tournaments and networking with other universities across the globe.

Hazreel is very vocal and has a keen interest in making arguments, reflecting his passion in Civil Litigation. He is now part of our Litigation & Arbitration 7 (LAPG7) under the supervision of our Partner, Izzat Asyraf Zamri.

Meor Edlan graduated from Multimedia University (MMU) with a LL.B (Hons) in 2024.

During his university days, he was an intern at the Shah Alam Magistrate and Sessions Court for his legal attachment program in 2020.  He was tasked with reviewing documents such as cause papers, pleadings, written submissions and conducted legal research daily on various issues of law on behalf of the Senior Assistant Registrar. He was also regularly tasked with proofreading and reviewing court documents before they are posted and submitted to the relevant parties.

As a student, he was active in participating and organising events with several club and societies such as the MMU Law Society, MMU Outrecs and MMU Silat Gayong club. Aside from that, he was also involved in his university’s social responsibility project such as conducting a charity movement to aid both the underprivileged people of Melaka and furry friends of Danny Baboo Stray Feeding Team that were affected by COVID-19 and MCO, as well as tasked with interviewing a local coconut vendor as part of a case study to expand the ways of selling the product in a new form of platform such as the e-commerce.

Meor is a hardworking, diligent and a meticulous person in exercising his responsibilities. His passion lies in the practice of Litigation and Corporate. However, he is open to being exposed to all other areas of practice. He is also a committed team player who is eager to learn new things and looking forward to assist and contribute to the firm in whatever way he can, and willing to accept constructive criticism for his development to be a better person.

He is now part of our Litigation & Arbitration 6 (LAPG6) under the supervision of our Partner, Mohd Wafiy bin Azman. His Master is our Partner, Mohd Sallahudin Abdullah.
