Jeremy Pang Jing Yang obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Law (Honours) from the University of Malaya (UM) in 2022.

As a previous intern at Messrs. Tan & Siah in July 2021, he gathered much exposure in real estate and conveyancing works, during which time he also assisted in the drafting of Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA) and Tenancy Agreements. He was also tasked to prepare the National Land Code forms for registration of transfer, charge and the lodging of caveat. On top of these responsibilities, he was also well trained in the preparation of Letter to Advise Release Facilities and the relevant checklists before the financier may proceed with the release of the loan.

During his undergraduate studies, Jeremy was actively involved in numerous co-curricular activities. As a highlight, he was the student advisor of the UM Legal Aid Clinic in 2021. As a student advisor, he was responsible to prepare legal advice that outline possible solutions and the strength of each case.

Given his passion and expertise in information technology, Jeremy also chaired various positions related to technology and multimedia. For instance, he was the Publicity & Technical Administrator of the Jessup Asia Pacific Regional Rounds in 2021, Head of the Publicity and Publication Bureau of the 2019/2020 Asian Law Students’ Association UM Chapter, Head of the Registration Department of Neon Run UM, and the Publicity Bureau Member of the 2018/2019 UM Moot Club. During the Movement Control Order (MCO), he supervised the media production of two local churches, including the setting up of a live stream system and providing regular electronic system training at both churches.

Jeremy joined Azmi & Associates in October 2022 and is currently part of the Projects practice group under the supervision of our Co-Deputy Managing Partner, Zuhaidi Mohd Shahari.
