Partnership in a Renewable Energy Project in Kelantan

Our Partner, Sharizan Sarif, from Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Practice Group and assisted by two Associates, Umar Izat and Asiah Siddiqah, advise Rising Promenade Sdn. Bhd. in relation to the participation by Malakoff Corporation Berhad in RP Hydro (Kelantan) Sdn. Bhd., the project company, which undertakes development of three (3) small hydropower plants located in Kuala Krai, Kelantan, having total installed capacities of 84 megawatts (MW).

Malakoff participates in the project by way of purchasing 70% ordinary shares and subscribing up to 250 million (worth RM250mil) preference shares in project company.
