Azmi & Associates Announces Promotion of Two New Managing Associates

Azmi & Associates is pleased to announce the elevation of two Associates, Low Jun Yen and Jasmine Ngu Tzeh Zhen, to the position of Managing Associate, effective 15 August 2025.

This milestone reflects their dedication, performance and continued contributions to the Firm. In their new roles, they will help drive our strategy, enhance client service, strengthen capabilities, and support our competitive edge.

Jun Yen graduated from Sunway University Malaysia with ACCA qualification in 2015 and obtained MSc Accounting and Finance from BPP University London in 2016. Driven by a passion for law, he pursued the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) in 2017, and subsequently completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC). He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in November 2019.

Earlier in his career, he interned with Leou Associates PLT and later worked as an auditor at PwC Malaysia for three years, gaining experience across a range of industries including banking, financial services, and consumer products.

He is currently part of our Capital & Debt Markets practice group under the supervision of our Co-Deputy Managing Partner, Serina Abdul Samad.

Jasmine graduated with a First Class LL.B (Hons) from Cardiff University in 2021 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Middle Temple) in 2023 after completing the Barrister Training Course at BPP University, Manchester.

Before starting her pupillage at Azmi & Associates, she gained practical legal experience through internships at various firms. During her undergraduate studies, she was involved in the Cardiff University Innocence Project, which aimed to help people who claimed to have been wrongfully convicted of a crime. She also actively participated in workshops organised by Middle Temple to enhance her practical skills and knowledge of the law.

Jasmine is currently part of our Capital & Debt Markets practice group, under the supervision of Co-Deputy Managing Partner, Serina Abdul Samad.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Low Jun Yen and Jasmine Ngu on this well-deserved achievement and look forward to their continued contributions in their new roles. Please join us in congratulating Jun Yen and Jasmine on their promotion.
