AzmiLaw acted for Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI) in its acquisition of an 80% shares in Urbancubes Sdn. Bhd. from Central Spectrum (M) Sdn. Bhd. (CSSD). This transaction represents an important step in MBI’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its portfolio and enhance operational effectiveness through strategic investments.

The matter was led by our Partner, Norhisham Abd Bahrin, assisted by Associate Gavin Chan Zi Jian and Trainee Associate Muhammad Amsyar Akif Amran. Our team was present at the signing ceremony of the Share Sale & Purchase Agreement and Shareholders’ Agreement on 19 December 2025, held at Bangunan Darul Ehsan, Shah Alam, between the Group CEO of MBI, Dato’ Ts. Saipolyazan, and a member of the Board of Directors of CSSB, Encik Mohd Zapi.

This acquisition is intended to support greater efficiency and strategic transformation within MBI, aligning with its THRIVE28 strategic transformation plan. We are pleased to have supported MBI on this transaction and appreciate the trust placed in our team.
