Dato’ Azmi Mohd Ali, the Firm’s Senior Partner, is widely regarded as a leading corporate lawyer in Malaysia, with more than 35 years of experience spanning M&A, joint ventures, cross-border transactions, project finance, privatisation, energy and oil & gas sectors. Under his leadership, Azmi & Associates has developed into one of the country’s prominent full-service law firms. He previously served for 7 years as a Director of TerraLex, a global network of independent law firms comprising more than 23,000 lawyers, and currently sits as one of 16 elected Bar Councillors for the 2026/2027 term. His recognition reflects a career marked by sustained professional distinction and leadership within the Malaysian legal fraternity.
Norhisham Abd Bahrin brings over 25 years of corporate legal experience, with a practice focused on investments, corporate and commercial transactions, private equity and venture capital, as well as governance and regulatory compliance. He has advised on significant transactions involving listed companies and government-linked corporations across sectors including automotive, palm oil and real estate. In parallel, he maintains an active governance advisory practice, having delivered nearly 200 public and in-house programmes in recent years and regularly coaching board members of listed entities and GLCs on governance frameworks and best practices.

Natalia Izra Dato’ Nasaruddin has more than 20 years of experience and specialises in civil litigation, handling disputes in areas such as banking, probate, land, tenancy, and tort claims including personal injury and defamation. She has appeared as lead and co-counsel at all levels of the Malaysian courts and has acted for a wide range of clients, including financial institutions, universities, airlines, multinational companies, and individuals, in matters involving contractual disputes, fraud, injunctions, and fiduciary duties. She has also contributed to the drafting of the Rules of Court 2012 and is a regular speaker on legal developments.
