Sharmaine Yap graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a LL.B (Hons) in 2022 and earned her Certificate in Legal Practice in 2024.

Prior to her pupillage, she worked as a Corporate and Tax Paralegal for 14 months in RDS Partnership where she got to assist in various tasks and assignments, including assisting in due diligence exercises for M&A matters and preparation of bundles for tax litigation matters. During her university days, she had also undergone internships in Shin Associates and Messrs Prem & Associates where she was exposed to multiple practice areas such as corporate, intellectual property, and general litigation.
