Muhammad Amirul Rafeeq Aznorashiq graduated from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) with a LL.B (Hons) in 2024.
As an ambitious and passionate graduate in law, he began his legal career early, securing an internship at Hafiz Zubir & Co during his university days. This opportunity allowed him to gain invaluable hands-on experience in Intellectual Property (IP). His tasks included drafting legal documents, preparing client briefs, helping with trademark filing and registration, as well as assisting in counterfeit reporting on various marketplaces.
He was also actively involved in giving back to the community during his tenure as an officer of the IIUM Legal Aid Club, where he played a pivotal role in organising and leading various outreach initiatives. One of the standout programs during his involvement was ‘Jalinan Mahabbah’, a series of community-based events aimed at spreading legal awareness to underserved populations in nearby communities. As a key liaison between the IIUM Legal Aid Services and the local residents, he coordinated legal workshops and seminars that covered a wide range of essential legal topics, such as family law, tenants’ rights, and consumer protection.
He has developed a strong passion for both Intellectual Property (IP) and Corporate Law, driven by his fascination with how law intersects with innovation, creativity, and business development. He is assigned to the Proprietary Asset/Technology Practice Group and the General Corporate Department. His Master is our Partner, Suhara Mohd Sidik.
