Mohamed Hamzah Khatri graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Kent in 2023. He subsequently completed the Bar Practice Course at the University of Law, Birmingham and was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Lincoln’s Inn) in July 2024.
He completed his pupillage at Messrs Ahmad Fuad Abi & Aidil, gaining experience in litigation across various practice areas, and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in September 2025.
Hamzah’s area of expertise encompasses general civil litigation wherein he has previously:
• Advised a client in a case involving setting aside an interim injunction order that prohibits the redemption of a performance bond
• Advised a client in opposing security for costs and striking out applications involving a company in liquidation
• Advised a client in an application to release monies deposited into Court pursuant to the Land Acquisition Act 2005
• Advised a client in a summary judgment application in relation to a claim involving monies due and owing under several facility agreements
• Advised a client in a case involving trespass of land
He is currently with the Litigation & Arbitration Practice Group at Azmi & Associates, under the supervision of our Partner, Natalia Izra Dato’ Nasaruddin.
