Lim Teng Li graduated from University of Leeds with a Second-Upper LL.B (Hons) degree in 2023. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Middle Temple and She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from University of Law in 2024.
Prior to commencing her pupillage at Azmi & Associates, she gained diverse legal experience through internships at various law firms. In 2024, She interned at Thomas Philip where where she explored litigation work related to corporate and commercial law.. She was trained with various tasks such as legal research and drafting legal documents. She was also given the opportunity to observe court trials. In 2023, she completed her internship with Tay & Partners, where she was exposed to litigation, corporate, and intellectual property work. She also gained experience in conveyancing, including document review and land title assessments.
She gained valuable insight through mooting during her university days and internships. She also actively participated in various pro bono activities where she was exposed to Employment, Housing and Family Law respectively. She was able to enhance her practical and theoretical knowledge of the law. Additionally, she had the unique opportunity to marshal with judges, including His Honour Sean Enright at Peterborough; His Honour Timothy Smith at Manchester and District Judge Franklin St. Clair Melville Evans at Peterborough, observing criminal and civil trials from the bench.
She has passion in Employment & Industrial Relations as well as Litigation, Arbitration & Dispute Resolution
