Asiah Siddiqah obtained her LL.B (Hons) from the University of Bristol in 2019.

She was a recipient of the Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) scholarship. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in March 2023.

Prior to joining Azmi & Associates in 2022, she worked under the Investigation and Enforcement Division at Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC).

Among her assignments include:

• advised ZECON Berhad on the terms of licence granted by Ministry of Utility and Telecommunication Sarawak (MUT) under the Sarawak Electricity Ordinance for generation of solar power at Kota Petra Green Technology Park, Kuching, Sarawak;

• advising a subsidiary of ZECON Berhad in relation to power purchase agreement with Syarikat SESCO Sdn Bhd for the sale and purchase of electricity generated from a solar photovoltaic energy generating facility with a capacity of 100MWac at Kota Petra Green Technology Park, Kuching, Sarawak;

• advised Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (“PKNS”) in relation to reviewing and amending Hotel Consultancy Services Agreement and Hotel Management Agreement between a subsidiary of PKNS and AAPC Singapore Pte. Ltd for the management and operation of Hotel Grand Mercure Shah Alam at Plaza Perangsang;

• advised Koperasi Permodalan FELDA Malaysia Berhad (“KPF”) in the divestment of its remaining equity interests in eight companies to FGV Holdings Berhad (“FGV”)’s subsidiaries, i.e., FGV Palm Industries Sdn Bhd (FGVPI) and Felda Holdings Bhd (FHB), valued at RM229.75 million. The strategic exercise forms part of FGV’s moves to consolidate its operations, and marks a significant milestone for KPF in unlocking value for its members.
