Amir, a law graduate from Universiti Malaya, obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons) in 2023.

Before joining Azmi & Associates, he gained in‑house exposure as a Legal Intern at Telekom Malaysia Berhad within the Legal Strategy & Intellectual Property division. His experience involved assisting with preliminary research and internal documentation on corporate governance matters, legal views relating to director‑level governance topics, anti‑trust compliance initiatives, and intellectual property‑related compliance matters.

He joined Azmi & Associates as a Trainee Solicitor in October 2023 and is now a member of the firm’s Senior Partner’s Office as well as the Proprietary Asset & Technology Group under the supervision of our Senior Partner, Dato’ Azmi Mohd Ali.

Amir has experience across a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial legal matters, with a practice that includes corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, corporate insolvency, and trademark compliance. He has assisted on global share acquisitions and divestments, legal due diligence, transaction documentations, regulatory and compliance reviews, corporate governance matters, advising on insolvency-related strategies and commercial risk issues for various high-profile and international clients.
