Iman Danial Hakim graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia with a double degree in Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) and Bachelor of Laws (Shari’ah) (Hons). He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in March 2023.⁣⁣

Iman Danial Hakim’s practice focuses on Intellectual Property (IP) law, an area in which he has developed a strong interest and commitment through his dedication to protecting and defending creative ideas and innovations.⁣⁣

Since April 2023, he has led the Intellectual Property Department at Hafiz Zubir & Co. (HZC) and continued in the same capacity following his move to Azmi & Associates in January 2026, after the consolidation of HZC into the Firm.⁣⁣

As a registered Trademark Agent, Iman Danial Hakim has extensive experience assisting clients in securing and managing trademark protection before MyIPO and intellectual property offices across various jurisdictions. His work encompasses a wide range of contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including disputes involving trademarks, patents, copyright, and industrial designs. ⁣⁣

Iman Danial Hakim has been involved in several notable Intellectual Property disputes reported in the Current Law Journal. In addition to his litigation work, he regularly advises clients on the protection, commercialisation, and management of intellectual property assets in corporate and commercial transactions.⁣⁣

Beyond his legal practice, Iman Danial Hakim is also an author. Drawing from his experiences in the legal profession and conversations with clients and working professionals, he authored the self-help book “Jangan Ganggu Lepas Waktu Kerja, Boleh?”, which reflects his interest in work-life balance, workplace culture, and the human side of professional life.⁣⁣
