The firm was honored to have our Partner, Azarith Sofia Aziz from Multimedia, Technology and Intellectual Property practice group, as one of the speakers at the Malaysia Property Law Conference 2024, held at the Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur on 23-24 October 2024.

In addition to her role as a speaker, she also served as Chairperson for the second day of the conference. Alongside her, our Associate, Hazwani Kamaluddin from Projects practice group, joined to participate in the two-day conference.

The conference brought together all subject matter experts from various stakeholders who are specifically related to property law in Malaysia. Each speaker has delved into various topics, including project management and construction law, strata management tribunal, law development on delivery of vacant possession, capital gain tax, land acquisition process and land boundary in Malaysia. Azarith highlighted copyright protection and related issues in property development, offering fresh insights that resonated strongly with industry experts.

We look forward to more legal rendezvous in this setting, which curates a great platform for exchanging experiences, networking and business development.
