On May 29, 2024, Azmi & Associates had the privilege of attending KWAP Malaysia’s Legal Clinic 2024 in Kuala Lumpur.

The event, organised by KWAP’s Group Legal Services Department and officiated by CEO Datuk Hajah Nik Amlizan Mohamed, provided a platform to showcase our Firm’s expertise, facilitate engagement, and foster valuable networking opportunities with attendees and other law firms.

Our Partner, Izzat Zamri represented the Firm by speaking on ‘Medical Negligence: Principles of Informed Consent and Your Rights’ during a breakout session, with assistance from our Senior Associate, Ammera Hadi. We were also pleased to have our Partners Zuhaidi Mohd Shahari and Azarith Sofia Aziz in attendance, helping to strengthen our connections with KWAP.

Our Firm was one of the select few invited to set up a booth, where we provided legal aid services. This experience underscored our commitment to community service and access to justice.

The event was also attended by Associates from our Corporate and Employment and Industrial Relations departments, including Dhanya Sivanantham, Sherena Khairul Suman, Nafis Zain, Vanessa Iskandar Ng and Natasha Jayasinghe. They collaborated to share insights on the diverse range of services our Firm offers.
