We were pleased to host a group of law students from the UOW Malaysia on 7 April 2025. The university is part of the University of Wollongong Australia Global Network and the students showed great interest in learning about the legal profession and law firm operations.

The visit began with warm welcoming remarks by our Senior Partner, Dato’ Azmi Mohd Ali, who shared insights on the firm’s journey and commitment to nurturing young legal talent. This was followed by an engaging sharing session with our Partner Izzat Zamri, Senior Associate Sherena Khairul Suman, and Associate Hashima Edhan, who each spoke about their practice areas, experiences in the legal profession, and valuable advice for aspiring lawyers. The programme was emceed by our pupil-in-chambers, Muhammad Danial Azli and included insights into the speakers’ respective practice areas and their experiences in legal practice.

We thank UOW Malaysia for visiting us and hope the students found the session informative and beneficial. We look forward to more engagements with future members of the legal community.
