We were delighted to welcome representatives from Trowers & Hamlins Singapore to our Johore Office on 10 April 2025. The visit served as a great platform for both firms to exchange insights on the evolving legal and business landscapes in Johore and Singapore, as well as to explore potential areas of collaboration, particularly in cross-border matters and regional investments.

Our guests, Ms. Cassandra Lim (Partner), Mr. Ignatius Hwang (Consultant) and Ms. Phoebe Lim (Senior Associate) were warmly received by our team comprising Partners, Syed Muhammad Ridza Syed Abdullah and Mohd Zam Mustaman, Managing Associate Haikal Suhaimi and Associate Fazlyn Yu Farid Yu. The discussions were both engaging and forward-looking, reflecting a shared vision of legal excellence and regional synergy.

It is also interesting to share that Cassandra Lim used to work with AzmiLaw many years ago as a corporate associate initially under our Senior Partner Dato’ Azmi Mohd Ali and later on under the Capital Market & M&A Practice Group under Deputy Managing Partner Serina Abdul Samad and Partner Moo Eng Thing before moving to Trowers & Hamlins, progressing eventually to become a partner of Trowers & Hamlins.
