We are pleased to share that Azmi & Associates was recognised at the ALB Malaysia Law Awards 2025, held on 10 April at The Westin Kuala Lumpur. This year, we were named finalists in several additional categories compared to the previous year, a reflection of our continued efforts and dedication to quality legal service.

We are honoured that our Deputy Managing Partner, Abu Daud Abd Rahim was named Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year. Having been with the firm since 2003, Abu Daud has played an instrumental role in building and leading our Litigation & Arbitration Practice Group. With experience in litigation and dispute resolution in corporate, civil construction, including cross-border arbitration, this recognition is a testament to his deep expertise and commitment.

We also received the M&A Deal of the Year award for our role as legal counsel to Sapura Energy Berhad, via their English law external counsels, LXL London in the sale of its stake in SapuraOMV. Our team, comprising of Senior Counsel Mahadi Abdullah, and senior Associates, Nafis Zain and Sherena Khairul Suman provided legal support and advice on pre-emption rights between the parties under the PSC and delivered legal opinion for the PSC preemption right issues.
