Azmi & Associates is pleased to announce the promotion of Amir Fahmi Annas to the position of Managing Associate, effective 16 January 2026.⁣ This promotion recognises his consistent performance, dedication, and contributions to the Firm.⁣

Amir Fahmi Annas, a law graduate from Universiti Malaya, obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. (Hons)) in 2022.⁣
⁣
Prior to joining Azmi & Associates, he gained in-house experience as a Legal Intern at Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) under the Legal Strategy and Intellectual Property Division. During his tenure, he was actively involved in corporate governance matters, including preparing legal opinions for the Board of TM, drafting internal anti-trust policies, and ensuring legal compliance relating to TM’s intellectual property portfolio.⁣

During his university years, Amir Fahmi was actively involved in student activism, both within and beyond his faculty. His engagement extended beyond legal circles, as he participated in various non-legal programmes with Ombudsman Financial Services (OFS), the Securities Commission (SC), SIDREC, AWAM, and Selangor Freelance. He also held several leadership roles, including Academic Head of Bureau for the Law Islamic Student Association, Treasurer of the Universiti Malaya Young Leaders Association, and EXCO Kebajikan of Persatuan Mahasiswa Selangor Universiti Malaya.⁣

He joined Azmi & Associates as a Trainee Solicitor in October 2023 and is currently a member of the Firm’s Mergers, Acquisitions & Corporate Practice Group, as well as the Proprietary Asset & Technology Group.⁣
