Azmi & Associates recently held its Strategic Workshop 2026 on 6–7 December 2025, bringing together all partners for a focused 2-day session at Amari KL to review the Firm’s progress and outline the way forward.⁣

The workshop began with welcoming remarks by our Senior Partner Dato’ Azmi Mohd Ali, who highlighted the Firm’s key achievements in 2025 and reinforced the importance of collective alignment as we prepare for the year ahead. Whilst the Firm has grown to 109 laywers including 28 partners, and in addition we have 22 trainee lawyers, we still need to strategise to win more big high value premium work for the Firm. We have been winning some interesting big mandates but obviously we need to win more to keep the Firm more sustained.⁣

Throughout the workshop, partners presented their respective 2026 plans, sharing key priorities, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities for their practice groups. The discussions also covered market trends, the economic outlook for 2026, and potential cross-practice collaborations to ensure the Firm remains resilient, agile, and client-centric.⁣
