On 19 December 2024, Azmi & Associates had the privilege of hosting a delegation from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) School of Law. The delegation, led by Dean Professor Dr. Harlida Abdul Wahab and comprising four professors and lecturers, was warmly received by our Senior Partner Dato’ Azmi Mohd Ali Chief Operating Officer Zul Adenan and his Deputy Afiq Hizami Azmir.

The visit underscored the strong ties between academia and the legal profession, fostering discussions aimed at advancing the development of UUM’s law students. The delegation and Firm leadership also explored sponsorship opportunities to support the School of Law’s academic and professional programmes.

Dato’ Azmi Mohd Ali, who serves as an Adjunct Professor at UUM, shared valuable insights on bridging the gap between academic rigor and the practical demands of legal practice, emphasizing the importance of equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in a dynamic industry.
