Azmi & Associates is pleased to have advised CIMB Bank Berhad on the issuance of Bank Guarantee Facility (“Facility”) to a joint venture company between Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) and PTT Public Company Limited, a state-owned energy company in Thailand (the “Borrower”) on a fast-track basis.

The Facility was provided for the issuance of guarantees in connection with tenders, performance obligations, financial commitments and security deposits in favour of government authorities and other counterparties in relation to the Borrower’s business operations.

The transaction was led by Partner Ahmad Syahir Yahya, supported by Associate Yasmin Taib.
