Azmi & Associates is proud to announce our role as the legal advisor to Boustead Plantations Berhad in the strategic disposal of approximately 572.047 acres of freehold land located in Mukim Beranang and Mukim Semenyih, District of Ulu Langat, Selangor, valued at RM497.2 million.

This significant land disposal deal has been entered into, subject to regulatory approvals, between Boustead Plantations Berhad and Mutiara Balau Sdn Bhd, which is a joint-venture company owned by Eco World Development Group Berhad and Boustead Properties Berhad.

The land disposal is part of the strategy of Boustead Plantations Berhad to monetise its land holding and proceed with capital reallocation exercise.

The transaction was led by our Dato’ Azmi Mohd Ali together with Partner Mohd Sallahudin Abdullah, and a dedicated team of associates — Muhammad Aqil Ahmed Azim, Jeremy Pang Jin Yang, and Chempaka Nur Camelia Mohd Nafizi, the collective efforts of which resulted in the signing of this transaction in an expeditious manner.
