We wish to announce the retirement of our Partner, Mohamad Redzuan Idrus, based in Penang, from the Firm’s partnership with effect from 3 February 2026, in order to take up the appointment as a Judicial Commissioner.

Redzuan joined the Firm in 2024 and has since overseen and led our Penang office. During his tenure, the office experienced steady growth and further strengthened its practice and operations.

Redzuan becomes the third partner from the Firm to be elevated to the Bench, following YA Tuan Azlan Sulaiman and YA Dato’ Raja Ahmad Mohzanuddin Shah Raja Mohzan, who assumed the same position in 2022.

Redzuan’s departure will be felt by partners and colleagues in the Firm, particularly in the Penang office, where his leadership and guidance are much valued.

He will be missed, and we record our appreciation for his contributions during his time with the Firm.

We congratulate Redzuan on his elevation to the Bench and extend our best wishes as he undertakes his new role in judicial service.
