Azmi & Associates was pleased to be part of the Malaysian Bar Annual Dinner 2026, “The Enchanted Bar: A Garden Gala,” held on 6 February 2026 at the One World Hotel.

The evening brought together members of the Bar and the Bench, including the Chief Judge of Sabah and Sarawak, YAA Datuk Hajah Azizah binti Haji Nawawi, former Chief Justice of Malaysia Tun Dato’ Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat, the 42 Members of the Bar Council where our Senior Partner Dato’ Azmi Mohd Ali currently serves as an elected member, and practitioners from across the country. Quite a number of Court of Appeal Judges also attended the event.

The firm was represented by 14 lawyers and pupils, and Deputy COO. Guests were treated to an eight-course Chinese banquet, along with performances and lucky draw sessions, providing an opportunity for fellowship and engagement within the legal community.

The programme also included a special segment of appreciation for the President of the Malaysian Bar, Dato’ Mohamad Ezri Abdul Wahab, as he will be concluding his two-year term of office after serving since 2024.

We extend our congratulations and appreciation to the organisers for an enjoyable evening and look forward to continued camaraderie within the profession.
