On 7 April 2026, Azmi & Associates had the pleasure of hosting David LEN at our Kuala Lumpur office.

David is an AI Governance Counsel and currently serves as the Senior Director and Head of Digital Legal Services (APAC) at DHL Group, based in Singapore. He previously practised with Abdul Rahman Saad & Associates in Malaysia and Bird & Bird in Hong Kong. A dual-qualified lawyer in Malaysia and Australia with over 30 years of cross-border experience, he brings extensive expertise and deep specialisation in AI governance, data privacy regulations, and enterprise digital risk.

David was warmly welcomed by our Senior Partner, Dato’ Azmi Mohd Ali, alongside Senior Counsel, Airene Ho (LL.B, MBA, IP), and pupil-in-chambers, Melvyn Quek Ter Mi. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for an interesting and fruitful discussion on the evolving landscape of AI governance, digital risk oversight and the intersection of technology and law.
