AzmiLaw acted for TDM Berhad in connection with the drafting and negotiation of supplemental lease agreements between its plantation subsidiary, Kumpulan Ladang-Ladang Terengganu Sdn. Bhd. (“KLLT”) with a related party, Perbadanan Memajukan Iktisad Negeri Terengganu (“PMINT”) to formalise the revised rental rates, while also advising on compliance with the Main Market Listing Requirements issued by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa”) in relation to the corresponding Bursa announcement.
The supplemental lease agreements, entered into on 9 July 2026, formalise the revised annual rental rates for approximately 32,089 acres of oil palm plantation lands in Kemaman, Setiu and Hulu Terengganu leased by KLLT from PMINT, being the estates on which KLLT is currently handling the operation of the oil palm plantation.
The drafting and negotiation of the supplemental agreements was led by our Partner, Sharizan Sarif, with the support of Senior Associate, Farah Deena Azmi and Managing Associate, Nurliyana Ahmad Zaini.
Advice on the listing compliance requirements and Bursa announcement was led by our Partner, Lee Jee Yun, with the support of Senior Associate, Chris Lim and Associate, Megan Yap.
We thank TDM Berhad for the continued trust and confidence placed in our team and are pleased to continue supporting the company on this engagement.
