Sophia graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Leeds in 2024. She subsequently completed the Barrister Training Course (BTC) at BPP Manchester, graduating with a Distinction.

She was called to the Bar in April 2026 and is a Barrister-at-Law of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.

She previously worked as a Paralegal at Thomas Philip, where she was involved in litigation matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings and submissions, and supporting trial preparation through evidence and witness analysis. She also gained exposure to both corporate and dispute resolution work during her internships at Mah-Kamariyah & Philip Koh and Azmi & Associates.

Sophia has built a solid foundation in legal research, drafting, and critical thinking, with a practical approach to handling legal issues. She has a keen interest in corporate law and continues to develop her capabilities across both advisory and contentious matters, complemented by strong teamwork and leadership experience from her extracurricular involvement.
