Ong Sern Tai graduated from Cardiff University with a Second Class (Upper Division) LLB in 2017. He continued to pursue his Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) in Cardiff  University and was called to the Bar of England and Wales on March 2019.

He has undergone internship with Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill during his university days. Upon completion of his BPTC, pending to the called to the Bar of England and Wales, he was also an intern in Christina Chia Law Chambers. During the tenure of his internships, he was exposed to mainly corporate works, where he was train to carry out researching tasks and assisting due diligence processes. Furthermore, he was also an active student during his university days as he was the student representative of Lincoln’s Inn for Cardiff University.

He commenced his pupillage with Azmi & Associates in July 2019 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in August 2020.

He is currently an Associate attached to Merger and Acquisition Practice Group 5 under the supervision of our Senior Partner, Dato’ Azmi Mohd Ali and Mr Lee Kin Hing.
