Daniel Qayyim Hasdi graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) with an LL.B (Hons) in 2023.

He has a deep interest in corporate law, especially due to his involvement with esteemed corporate law firms in Malaysia. In 2021, he commenced his attachment at Azmi & Associates and undertook myriads of tasks in areas of mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, projects, and more. He assisted partners and associates in real estate matters as a legal intern at Zain & Co. His knowledge and interest in corporate law were further amplified when he was attached to Zaid Ibrahim & Co (in association with KPMG Law), also an established corporate law firm. His period there exposed him to corporate and government advisory practices. He also has industrial experience outside law practice in which he worked briefly as a market researcher at a capital advisory firm called Merchant Edge LLC.

In law school, he was active in extracurricular activities. He was part of the editorial board for his law school’s newsletter and helmed the position of Deputy Secretary and later Vice President of the International Law Club (ILC). He participated in advocacy-related competitions such as the Model United Nations (MUN) and the National Mock Trial Competition (NMTC). He was also a former debater and was actively involved in theatre.

He has a passion for Corporate Law. He is currently part of PEVC PG and his Master is our Partner, M. Inamul Hassan Shah.
