The Asian Legal Business (ALB) magazine, renown for its up-to-date news and articles, has selected Azmi & Associates as one of the fastest-growing law firms in Asia for 2008. Azmi & Associates is the sole Malaysian law firm to make the list of 30 firms in the 8 December 2008 issue of ALB.

The magazine describes those on the list as “the firms in Asia to watch”, singling out the top 30 performers based on percentage revenue and headcount growth. The magazine remarked on Azmi & Associates’ “stellar revenue growth”, which hit 25% in the financial year ending July 2008, and on its 14% increase in partner numbers.

ALB pointed out that such growth was impressive, considering the local scenario of political uncertainty and dampening investor confidence. It also predicted Azmi & Associates’ continued presence in the 2009 edition of the ALB Fast 30.
